Sedef İlgiç
Founder
Istanbul, 1988. After graduating from Political Sciences I had ten years of experience as literary agent, editor and translator in publishing. I translated about twenty different titles into Turkish including books from Yoko Ono, Eileen Myles, Muriel Rukeyser, James M. Cain, Stephen Chbosky. I earned my Master's Degree in Cultural Studies, had an active role in the organization of Istanbul Tanpinar Literature Festival and other international literary projects.
I took a pause from my life in Istanbul and lived in Berlin for seven months. I am producing interviews in culture and arts for my living since coming back to Istanbul, along with creating projects for istanbulberlin.
