Turkish-German Bookstore, is one of the rare shops that exists since 1955 in Istanbul Beyoğlu district.
The owner of the bookstore, Thomas Mühlbauer tells the story of its establishment, the transformation of not only the bookstore but also Istiklal Street and the role they play in the encounters between Turkey and Germany.
