Ferit Karahan’s new film "Okul Tıraşı” will make its world premiere at the 71. Berlin International Film Festival.
Film will be screened at the selection "Panorama 2021: Between Doubt and Revolt – A Critical Look at Power Relations". It is about the difficult daily lives of Kurdish students at a boarding school in the uplands of Anatolia.
First feature length film by the director was awarded the best film at 50. Antalya Golden Orange Film Festival.
