According to a study published last week by the Berlin Institute for Cultural Participation Research, many people stated that they were satisfied with the cultural opportunities in the capital, while it was discovered that 64% of the people had to give up theaters, cinemas and museums due to lack of money.

The cultural administration’s solution is not taking entrance fee for city museums, one day a month.

The results also showed that, alongside age, education is one of the strongest factors influencing cultural participation and between Berlin's neighbourhoods there are "problematic differences", according the to Institute.
